THE OLD HOLLYWOOD SQUARES GAME

These great questions and answers are from the days when "Hollywood Squares" game show responses were spontaneous and clever. Peter Marshall was the host asking the questions, of course.

A. George Gobel: I don't know, but it's coming from the next apartment.

All hilarious! This was my favorite show as a kid, it was the only time I ever saw my grandfather laugh.

Paul Lynde and George gobel were my favorites, they said that behind the scenes there was a prty before each taping where the champagne flowed freely to loosen up the celebrity squares.

I'm so jealous of witty people. I wish i could come up with stuff like that.

Tart: Age seems to have devoiced me of witticism. Sometimes a good comeback hits me!
