Name the Bunny

This is my new rescued bunny.

The story: Sunday, a neighbor (retired college professor from Georgetown, Texas) stopped by while I was painting the front gate. He was trying to pawn off Redbone Hounddog puppies. There was a bucket- full of 7 five- week-old pups that weighed about 12 pounds each (BIG puppies, but so cute). While I was giving him a scolding for breeding dogs since there are so many homeless pets, I noticed he had a bunny in a cage on his fla- bed trailer. Upon asking him why the bunny was freezing in a cage, he replied that he bought the cage and bunny at auction and just wanted the cage. "I'm going to let the rabbit loose in the pasture." Well I couldn't have that. So I told the idiot I would take the bunny. He is fairly friendly considering the torture he went through. I can pet him and he plays with my cat.
Let's play NAME THE BUNNY! (I am thinking something Valentiney like Archer, Valentino, Chip - as in chocolate), but that also seems corney so I need help!!!

Or maybe Harley as in Harliquin..black & white, what a site. What is it with us??? Can we not hold ourselves back from rescuing the injured? Disabled? And abused? Given half the chance I'd have way more here if I could get it by the hubby...

Thanks guys - I do like the play on black and white: Tux, Ascot....

FF: Geeze, just this morning I have all these babbies wanting to be fed before I even have coffee. Then the donkey snuck her happy ass in the yard (left the latch open while feeding chickens). All that commotion leaves me wanting to get rid of a few! Still I know I can't say no whenn a baby needs help.

Thanks Dick, I like that name too, but I already have a dog named BOB for "Big Ole Boy."

Hey there,
I have housebunnies and they make great little companions. May I make a suggestion? Get that rabbit fixed... it will help with its temperment and house manners (ie. litterbox habits). Check out: http://www.rabbit.org
This the link to THE HOUSERABBIT SOCIETY. Very helpful information for you .

Lisa - thank you. i have read quite a bit on line and have discovered alot by trial and error. Such as, he hates to be picked up in the traditional way (hand under front then back legs). He hates his back legs touched. Picking him up like a baby, under the front arms and he is just fine. I have deep scratches to prove he hates being touched on back legs!
