Dang Animals!

Well, it is with a sad heart that I report: My big dog, BOB, took the black buck down this morning. I tried to get to them as fast as I could but alas he was killed. I couldn't be angier at that dog. curse, curse, curse. Will post more later.

Oh, that is sad about the buck... It may be part of nature, and yet seeing those graceful animals down is a shame...

Yeah, guess I was more upset about it than I realized. Had a doctor appointment this mornng to get prescription refills and my blood pressure which I have never had problems with, was dangerously high. They wouldn't let me leave the clinic for 2 hours and gsve me a blood pressure pill! I was told I was on the verge of a stroke. Yikes. Guess that's what I get for holding it all inside.

I would be afraid of that dog if I were you. It is probably a good thing you didn't get to them you might have been attacked too.

Thanks guys. I've had BOB for over 5 years, he's a very good dog and protector. He just likes the chase of deer which is why I tie him up at night.

Those black bucks won't jump a fence which is how BOB caught him.
I have standard barbed wire fences.

BOB weighs 65 lbs; the buck weighed about 95lbs. BOB grabbed him by the neck.

I'll get a picture when I can control the anger I feel.

BTW - I tried to get someone to get the buck for the meat so that it wouldn't be wasted but was told he had to be processed immediately and it was too late.

Oh NoMas,
So sorry about the blood pressure ! That clearly got you so upset with the buck. Let your feelings out, NoMas, please know there are safe people and safe places where it is okay...
I am here for you if you want to talk --
May the pills work quickly and effectively, and may you feel them helping you...
Genuinely,
Anne
