First Hint of Fall

The animals become feisty when the weather changes from sultry, breathtaking heat to any reprieve involving comfort. This morning the temperature was 42 F - a shocking difference from yesterday's 90 F. Gus calf managed to get into the front yard despite electric fence and barbed wire. I heard a commotion and looked outside to see the little 200 pound terror bucking and twirling in circles. And what could have gotten him so excited? Well, it was none other than little 4 pound Siamese Ceri playfully running at him! She is fearless. I wish my camera had been ready.
